| The theft of laptop computers is at an all
time high. They're being stolen out of the back seats of cars, hotel rooms, restaurants,
and ticket counters, just about every where that you can think of. Not only are the thefts
occurring with travelers, but also with people who are involved with their daily routines.
When you travel with your laptop, carry copies of your
passports and emergency contact numbers with you, not in your laptop bag. There have been
cases where laptop computer bags have been stolen, and along with them very sensitive
personal documents. Carry important documents separate from your laptop so you don't lose
your laptop and personal documents at the same time.
