Better Than Old
Alarm Systems, Affordable Home Security
Systems Provide Owner Notification to Apartment
or Condo Dwellers
An easy-to-install, portable, professional quality home
security system for apartment and condo dwellers offers owner notification plus
traditional alarms anywhere in the U.S. at affordable rates. The system is reasonably
priced because owners can install it themselves.
A new home security system for apartments and condos is
available that has low initial cost and monthly fees, provides direct notification of
alarms up to five contacts, is simple to set up without tools, and is easily portable.
Most security systems require professional installation as
well as long- term contracts, which make them difficult for many to afford. The TriGuard
Advantage (TM) Home Security System ($249 for hardware and $12.50 per month for
notification, call toll free 866-455-1445) is available at
http://www.triguardadvantage.com.
"After the death of a friend's daughter during a home
invasion, I founded the TriGuard Group to develop a system to bring affordable home
security to everyone," said Pamela Layton, president of the TriGuard Group.
The TriGuard Advantage uses wireless sensors to provide
protection. The alarm control panel connects to an electrical outlet and telephone jack
and collects information from the wireless sensors placed strategically around the home.
When the system is armed, a disturbance of any of the
protected zones causes the siren to sound, and the system then transmits all of the alarm
event information to the TriGuard notification network. The automated network promptly
notifies the contacts via phone, cell phone, pager, and e-mail about the alarm.
Easy to set up and uninstall, owners can take the system
with them when they move and reinstall it easily.
"The TriGuard Advantage system was not only affordable
but easy to install," said a TriGuard customer. "Now I feel more comfortable
knowing that the system will notify me if something is wrong - before I enter my
apartment."
There is a home burglary in the U.S. every 12 seconds,
totaling over 8,640 robberies per day. With direct alarm notification, the chances of
surprising a burglar go down dramatically.
